In June, we successfully stuck to a $200 cash budget for groceries. We won't be able to do that in July. It's just not sustainable for us since we went through quite a bit of our stock pile in the freezer.
But we do have quite a bit still so I am going to try to keep us to under $350 and still use cash only. That amount will include any Costco purchases as well as toiletries, soap, and eating out.
I'm hoping the weather will be nice so we can do a good amount of BBQing. We've got several pounds of chicken and almost seven pounds of pork in the freezer.
We'll see how July's budgeting goes but I'll definitely be keeping myself accountable by sharing our journey.
